OBT’s infrastructure is located in our state-of-the-art facility with constant monitoring and security. Multiple firewall/authentication security measures from enterprise vendors such as Cisco and RSA make up the underlying online security systems of OBT services. Below are some measures that we have adopted to give you peace of mind.
Electronic security of data
- OBT’s firewalls and anti-intrusion devices protect data from hackers, unauthorised access, and malicious attacks.
- User systems are locked down so no major changes can be made by the end user.
- Users can be disabled immediately, limited exposure to disgruntled employees.
- Limiting information loss through equipment theft or failure, fire or other disasters.
Remote access via SecurID token
Clients accessing their information via the Internet require a SecurID token, which provides two-factor authentication. This is based on something you know (a password or PIN), and something you have (the token authenticator), giving a much more reliable level of user authentication than simple reusable passwords. Security built on static, reusable passwords has proven easy for hackers to beat, and with more emphasis being placed on online security, the need for dependable user identification is required in today’s business environment.
OBT can also provide SSL (Secure Sockets Layer) as an Enterprise option. SSL works by using a private key to encrypt data that's transferred over the SSL connection. For further information please contact our team.
